This breed was first developed in Hungary and is considered as an ancient breed. This breed is basically a hunting dog and was mainly used for hunting. They were used to hunt, bears, boars, and also bison. They were perfect hunting companions in rocky terrines. This breed was recognized by the American Kennel Club in the year 2015. The body of this breed is long and also slender. They are medium in size and are well built. They are very strong and also powerful breed. Their head is long as well as broad. They have a long as well as tapering muzzle. The ears of the breed are erected and folded at the end, forming a V shape. The teeth of this breed are set in scissor bite. They have a strong as well as well-developed jaw. They have a medium length tail, which is slightly curved towards the end. The coat covering the body of this breed is rough and also dense in appearance. This breed is available in black and also tan colours. His breed is very sweet and also well behaved. They are also very watchful and alert, making a perfect choice as watch dogs. They are devoted and loyal towards their master and also family. They are very loving and affectionate. They are friendly towards children and also other house hold pets. They can be aggressive towards strangers and also other unfamiliar animals; this can be avoided with proper socialization. This breed is not suitable for apartments, as they are loud barkers. They are most preferred in rural areas, where they can run around and burn their energy. The average height and weight of this breed is 55 cm to 65 cm and 20 kg to 32 kg. this breed only requires minimum grooming. This breed is usually very healthy and the average life span of this breed is 10 years to 12 years.
